Modern design thinking blended with timeless classics

Belle was born from the client’s passion for vintage mahogany boats. The design team from Scorpio.Design and Song Lo Boat studied numerous European models from the 1960s–70s to recreate that nostalgic “soul,” while ensuring performance and durability aligned with today’s modern materials.

The use of FRP Composite allows designers to break free from the limitations of traditional wood. Soft curves, rounded hull sides, and an open cockpit were fine-tuned using 3D simulation and parametric design—giving Belle a classic look while maintaining a modern hydrodynamic structure.

Craftsmanship and finishing capability

By combining traditional and modern materials in a single product, Belle delivers the elegance of classic mahogany even though the hull is fully composite-molded. The finish is enhanced with veneer layers and real wood accents for a refined, authentic feel.

Beyond wood elements, all 316 stainless-steel details such as railings, handrails, and cleats are crafted to premium yacht standards. The shine and precision of each component reflect a balance between industrial machining and meticulous hand-finishing.

A design centered on user experience

At 5.6 m in length and 1.95 m in beam, Belle is perfectly sized for lakes, rivers, and sheltered bays. Despite its compact form, the interior layout is optimized for comfort and utility:

• Faux-teak deck for a premium yacht ambiance
• Low-profile windshield for a refined classic aesthetic

Backed by years of experience designing tourism and coastal vessels, Belle is engineered with optimized weight distribution, buoyancy arrangement, and load balance—ensuring smooth, stable operation even at full load (5 passengers + 1 crew).

Belle is powered by the Torqeedo Cruise 6.0 RL, a renowned German electric drive system. The combination of vintage design and modern electric technology creates a rare identity: a classic-styled boat operating quietly, cleanly, and perfectly suited for resorts, eco-lakes, and premium hospitality spaces.

Song Lo Boat has refined the stern structure, electrical cabling, and arrangement of 6V-200Ah batteries to ensure maximum performance and ease of maintenance.
